Mexico's Round of 16 Nightmare

Since 1994 when the World Cup was held in Mexico’s backyard; United States, Mexico has been tormented with heartbreaking results in the Round of 16.  In the last 5 FIFA World Cups, Mexico has failed to progress from the Round of 16 stage which is a trend that all fans want El Tri to break.  El Tri has to overcome this fear of repeating history and we hope that if they do make it to this stage once again, they can achieve what 5 past Mexico National Teams couldn't make it to the next stage.

History on World Cup Match Balls - Brazuca

The official match ball for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil will be released in the coming month.  Always a hot topic since its the one piece of equipment that is shared amongst the players.  Its the object that gets criticized for looks, and performance, so it will be interesting to see how the media and players respond to the new ball.  As an FYI -  You can actually purchase all of the match balls from 1970 to the present through the FIFA site.  (Something I will do once I create my man cave) Anyway, if your interested here is a brief History on FIFA World Cup match balls:
