El Tri calls up 12 European based players

The Mexican Football Federation has announced the European based players that will be joining El Tri in the FIFA sponsored friendly dates this month.

3/28: Mexico vs Ecuador (Los Ángeles Memorial Coliseum )

3/31: Mexico vs Paraguay (Sporting Park)

4/15: USA vs Mexico (Alamodome)

6/03: Peru vs Mexico (Lima, Peru)

6/07: Brazil vs Mexico (Sao Paulo, Brazil)

7/01: Mexico vs Honduras (Houston, Texas)

Below is a list of the players that will be joining EL Tri as they travel from Europe to participate in the March Friendlies:

Mexico vs Ecuador

The all time record between the two is as follows: Mexico has 11 victories while Ecuador has 2 and the game has ended in a draw 5 times. The last time these two teams faced off was not even a year ago, May 31, 2014, and Mexico defeated Ecuador 3–1 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Although Mexico was victorious they lost a very important player to their World Cup squad: Luis Montes. He suffered a broken leg minutes following his sensational strike that put El Tri up 1-0.

 

Mexico vs Paraguay

As for the second match, this past November Mexico announced a friendly against Paraguay which would be played in Kansas City, Missouri at Arrowhead Stadium and starts at 20:00 hrs. The all time record between the two is as follows: Mexico has 7 victories while Paraguay has 4 and the game has ended in a draw 5 times. The last time these two teams faced off was several years ago on March 26, 2011, at the Oakland Coliseum, in Oakland, CA. Mexico defeated Paraguay 3 -1.
